Augmented Reality Based Helmet Will Allow Fighter Pilots To See At Night Without Goggles

BAE Striker II helme-mounted display is the world's most developed helmet to date-something any Top Gun would love to wear. The helmet was unveiled at the Farnborough Air Show. It has everything that you can consider from HD display to an implicit night vision framework and It takes the pilot to the universe of augmented virtual reality.

Dissimilar to traditional HUDs which are static, Striker II makes a virtual computerized space around the pilot. It makes bunches of virtual screens around him and puts the important  data on them. The pilot can look on them as and when required.

The head-set has a cutting edge tracking system which guarantees pilot's definite head position. The helmet works in coordination with a Polaroid mounted in the cockpit to focus the definite area where you're seeing with pin-point exactness.

The image is thrown to the visor and into the retina and the mind makes a compound image. This implies that no time is lost in refocusing.

'The results are high-precision target following and engagement and also prevalent situational mindfulness and mission adequacy,' the firm says.
